The AGE-C web tool is an open-access interactive platform that enables users to explore and analyse representations of ageing and gender in more than 6,000 European films through an accessible, data-driven interface developed in cooperation with King’s Digital Lab.
Designed to support both quantitative and qualitative research, the dataset enables scholars, film practitioners, programmers, and policy-makers to explore patterns of representation, career trajectories of ageing film professionals, and transnational trends related to ageing and gender in European cinema.
