First training workshop of the AGE-C project
Milan, 29.05.2023
One of the distinctive features of AGE-C project lies in its adept deployment of a broad range of research methods, analytical approaches, and data analysis techniques. In the pursuit of applicable digital tools for quantitative data analysis, we initiated a collaboration with the Centric-CineAF team: Prof. Mariagrazia Fanchi and Dr. Matteo Tarantino from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.
During the training workshop, the Centric-CineAF team introduced us to their powerful and innovative system named CENTRIC. This system is designed for collecting, classifying, filtering, and archiving film big data.
Another highlight of the training workshop was a roundtable discussion with Prof. Valentina Re and Prof. Marica Spalletta from the University of Rome. Prof. Valentina Re and Prof. Marica Spalletta presented their project DETECt – Detecting Transcultural Identity in European Popular Crime Narratives, sharing their research experience and key findings.
